Surrounded by rivers and mature forests, Woodenbridge Golf Club is situated just south of
the
village of Avoca in Wicklow, where the Avoca and Aughrim rivers meet.
Woodenbridge was described by the legendary Joe Carr as “Ireland’s Augusta” and “The most
scenic
golf course in Ireland, a hidden gem”.
The Wicklow Way is a 131-kilometre long-distance trail that crosses the Wicklow Mountains in
Ireland.
It runs from Marlay Park in the southern suburbs of Dublin through County Wicklow and ends
